Oh, life.....

It's amazing how quickly time passes when you get busy. I don't like it when I don't have time to slow down and enjoy life. I am definitely trying to enjoy the beautiful fall weather we have been having here in Utah. There is nothing better than running on a trail covered in fall leaves. Love it!

Montana State

Montana had her first UVU race yesterday in Montana of all places! She didn't do as well as she had hoped. Her leg (the one that's been in a boot) started hurting about a mile in. Those dang injuries...

Homecoming 2011

Why is it that school dances don't seem to be as big a deal to prepare for when it's your son going to the dance? I still had to go get flowers and buy a new pair of pants for him...Is it because he is my second child and a boy??

I think the date went much more smoothly than his last dance. And it looks like they had a pretty good time. He did stay out a little too late! But we already had a discussion about it...

Off to a great start!

UVU started a week ago and Montana didn't even get to run in her first college meet. Those dang shin splints were so bad they put her in a boot. Hopefully, after two weeks, she will be good as new. In the meantime she is able to use the injury to her advantage at the grocery store!
